Kent Goodman is Co-Founder at Maywood, an AI platform that automates deal execution for investment banks from decks to diligence. Maywood is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch and is based in New York.
Kent graduated from MIT where he conducted deep research in neural stylistic transfer and studied EECS and Sloan. He previously worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he automated work at Fortune 500 companies.
Kent leads AI and go-to-market at Maywood and has always been passionate about doing analyst work manually first, then automating it end-to-end. He was inspired to found Maywood after learning that M&A deals take 6-9 months end to end when the manual work could be shortened to weeks.
Maywood's platform automatically generates on-brand CIMs, presentations, models, and diligence responses with best-in-class security. The company is transforming the $5 trillion M&A industry by removing execution bottlenecks for investment banks.
Maywood enables investment banks to focus on judgment rather than mechanics, helping deal teams maintain high standards of execution while scaling transaction volume. The platform reinvents the deal process with a single, living workspace for every deal.
