Kevin Miao is Co-Founder and CEO of Tare, a Brooklyn-based fintech company building end-to-end blockchain infrastructure for private credit markets.

Kevin spent seven years at Citigroup as a structured credit trader, then directed operations at fintech lender Capchase, and later attended Harvard Business School before dropping out to lead credit at BlockTower Capital.

Kevin launched BlockTower Credit, a nearly $2 billion institutional private credit fund that used public blockchains and tokenization to maximize capital efficiency, pioneering the on-chain credit model.

At Tare, Kevin is leading the mission to consolidate loan origination, servicing, and capital markets into one unified system, eliminating costly intermediaries that erode investor returns in private credit.

Tare secured a $13.25M seed round led by Blockchain Capital, with backing from Janus Henderson, Apollo Global Management, the Avalanche Foundation, and prominent fintech founders, targeting a $6 to $8 trillion U.S. asset-backed finance market.
