Kiril holds an MSc in Software Engineering of Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and built expertise in fintech and ML-powered developer tools at companies including Tink, Dreams, and Cinnober.
A Y Combinator alumnus and Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, Kiril brings an operator-investor perspective and a deep passion for automating developer workflows and eliminating repeat bugs before they ship.
Prior to GitButler, Kiril co-founded Codeball (YC W21), where he led product and engineering to build a deep-learning code-review engine that scores pull request risk by learning from past repository defects.
GitButler raised a $17M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, with a16z describing Kiril as an inventive technical lead who has been working to revolutionize source control for years.
