Konstantin Guericke is Co-Founder and VP of Marketing at LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network, and a Web 2.0 pioneer who describes himself as a Social Architect and Computational Humanist passionate about the intersection of psychology, sociology, and computing.
Born in Hamburg, Germany, Konstantin first came to the U.S. as a high school exchange student and earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University, before holding VP-level marketing roles at Black Sun Interactive and Presenter.com.

As VP of Marketing from launch through 2006, he drove LinkedIn from zero to its first six million members and guided the company to profitability, making it the first major social network to achieve that milestone. Post-LinkedIn, he served as CEO of jaxtr, became a Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital's 200M Berlin-based fund, and served on the boards of Doximity and Ekata (acquired by Mastercard for 850M).
LinkedIn IPO'd on the NYSE in 2011 at a 4B valuation and was acquired by Microsoft in 2016 for 26.2B; today the platform claims over 1 billion members and generates more than 17B in annual revenue.
