Konstantin Surkov

Konstantin Surkov is Co-Founder and CEO of Nopan, the world's first merchant-native payment service provider built to help digital businesses launch, optimise, and scale account and wallet payments across Europe.
Konstantin honed his expertise managing payment processing and fee optimisation at Netflix's European headquarters in Amsterdam, and previously held roles at Visa and Global Payments.
Witnessing first-hand how account and wallet payment methods started strong but struggled at scale, Konstantin co-founded Nopan to close the performance gap between emerging payment methods and traditional card networks.
Under Konstantin's leadership, Nopan secured a payment institution licence from De Nederlandsche Bank in Q4 2025 and became a Principal Member of the European Payments Initiative, the organisation behind Wero.
Nopan has raised 7.2 million euros in total funding from Newion, Crane, and Seedcamp, and is live with enterprise customers across Europe, targeting the rapidly growing 287 billion dollar open banking market.
