Kunal Shrivastava

Kunal Shrivastava is Co-Founder and CEO of SUIND Autonomous Private Limited, an agritech startup pioneering AI-powered autonomous drone solutions to transform precision agriculture in India and beyond.
Kunal holds a degree from IIT Roorkee and an M.S. in Robotics, Systems, and Control from ETH Zurich (2016-2018), where he developed vision-based autonomous landing systems for cargo drones. He previously worked as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich's Robotics and Perception Group and gained early career experience in electrical engineering at Rio Tinto.
Kunal's deep expertise in computer vision and autonomous systems uniquely positions him to solve one of agriculture's most persistent challenges: reliable drone navigation in GPS-denied, complex plantation environments. He co-founded SUIND with the conviction that AI and robotics are the key to unlocking global food security.
SUIND raised a Rs 5 Cr seed round in 2023 led by Sunicon Ventures, followed by a Rs 20.5 Cr seed round led by Transition Venture Capital Fund, valuing the company at approximately Rs 80 Cr. The company's flagship Bumblebee platform serves crops including tea, rubber, banana, sugarcane, and mangoes across India.
SUIND's drones operate 90% faster than manual methods and have completed over 500 successful missions across multiple crops. The company is expanding its autonomous drone technology beyond agriculture into industrial and surveillance applications.
