Lars Albright

Lars Albright is a General Partner at Unusual Ventures, where he leads investments in fintech, vertical SaaS, and application software. He is a repeat entrepreneur who co-founded and scaled two companies that were acquired by major tech and financial services giants.
Lars co-founded Quattro Wireless, a mobile advertising platform acquired by Apple for 275M in 2010, where he served on the executive team at iAd. He also co-founded SessionM, a customer engagement and loyalty platform acquired by Mastercard for 215M in 2019, where he served as CEO.
Lars holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and an AB with honors from Harvard University. He started his career in investment banking and finance on the West Coast.
Lars joined Unusual Ventures as General Partner in January 2022, opening their Boston office to expand into the northeast tech community. He has served as an investor, advisor, and board member for companies including Skydio, Drizly, Forter, FreshBooks, mParticle, and PillPack.
As a repeat founder with two successful exits totaling nearly 500M, Lars brings hands-on operating experience to early-stage founders. He focuses on helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of building and scaling startups, particularly in managing early customer relationships and product roadmap discipline.
