Laurence Watson is Co-Founder and Chief Product and Technology Officer at Furbnow, a Birmingham-based ClimateTech company on a mission to decarbonise one million UK homes through end-to-end energy efficiency retrofit management.

Laurence holds a BA in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Energy Systems and Data Analytics from UCL, and built a career spanning climate policy, carbon markets, and data science.

As the architect of Furbnow's proprietary digital twin platform, Laurence combines deep data science expertise with over a decade at the intersection of climate, technology, and energy policy.

Prior to Furbnow, Laurence served as a Data Scientist at Carbon Tracker, co-founded Future Energy Associates, and co-founded Treebeard Technologies via the Entrepreneur First accelerator programme.

Furbnow has retrofitted over 750 homes across the UK and secured a £2.5 million seed round to scale its platform, expand its team, and accelerate its mission of making home energy upgrades accessible nationwide.
