Lee Sherman

Lee Sherman is Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer (CCO) at Visual.ly, a pioneering community platform connecting brands and publishers with expert infographic and data visualization creators.
Lee brought over 25 years of content creation experience to Visual.ly, having previously served as Editor-in-Chief at Mint.com and Intuit, where he built the leading personal finance blog.
A firm believer that visual storytelling will transform media, Lee co-founded Visual.ly after witnessing firsthand how infographics at MintLife generated dramatically higher audience engagement than text-based content.
Lee co-founded Visual.ly in 2011 alongside Stew Langille, Tal Siach, and Adam Breckler, steering the company's content strategy as it grew into a curated marketplace of 100,000+ creative members partnering with outlets like The Atlantic, BuzzFeed, and National Geographic.
Visual.ly raised over $15M in funding from investors including Crosslink Capital and 500 Global, was recognized on the Inc. 5000 list in 2015, and was ultimately acquired by ScribbleLive in January 2016.
