Lena Sophia Voß

Lena Sophia Voß is Co-Founder of Furo, a Munich-based energy software company building an AI-driven platform for planning, monitoring, and optimising commercial and industrial battery storage systems.
Voß studied at TU Munich and LMU through the elite CDTM programme, then studied at UC Berkeley in the Bay Area before returning to Germany to tackle Europe's energy transition.
Voß made a deliberate choice to leave Silicon Valley and return to Munich, believing Europe offers a stronger environment for building energy startups right now, with closer proximity to industrial customers and a dense investor network.
Prior to Furo, Voß worked at an AI startup in San Francisco and co-founded the company's predecessor, Lumera Energy, through Neo's accelerator programme alongside co-founders Leonie Wagner and Simon Wittner.
Just one year after founding, Furo secured $4M in Seed funding led by TQ Ventures with backing from Sheryl Sandberg's Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, and counts Deutsche Bahn, Enpal, and Sonnen among its enterprise clients.
