Leon Mojarrabi

Leon Mojarrabi is Co-Founder of GutGutGoose, a Queensland-born biotech startup developing AI-powered personalised probiotics based on individual gut microbiome data, now backed by Y Combinator.
Leon is a Business student at Griffith University in Brisbane, where he and childhood friend Anis Mihrshahi built GutGutGoose from the ground up while studying full-time.
The idea for GutGutGoose was born from Leon's own experience with persistent gut issues, leading him to identify a major gap in a global probiotics industry worth hundreds of billions of dollars.
Leon graduated from the LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator 2025, where GutGutGoose grew from no product or revenue to a live waitlist, before earning a coveted spot in Y Combinator's S26 cohort.
GutGutGoose secured US$500,000 from Y Combinator and developed personalised probiotics reported to be 16 times more effective at gut colonisation than standard off-the-shelf products.
