Leon Yao is Co-Founder of Whitespace AI, an AI operating system purpose-built for wholesale distributors that automates operations like inventory planning, order entry, and customer support.

Leon grew up watching his parents run a wholesale distribution business and later worked as a Research Engineer at InstaDeep and as a Research Developer at the University of Manchester, building deep expertise in applied AI.

Driven by firsthand knowledge of how manual work holds distributors back, Leon set out to bring enterprise-grade AI to the businesses that keep the physical economy running.

Prior to Whitespace AI, Leon co-founded Test and Tutor and built AI systems for some of the world's largest companies, giving him a strong foundation in both product development and machine learning.
