Lewis Carhart is Co-Founder and CEO of Comp AI, an open source, AI-native compliance and security platform helping software companies achieve SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance in days rather than quarters.

Lewis previously served as Head of Growth at LeapAI, a no-code AI workflow platform that scaled to over one million users before the team shut it down to pursue a more focused problem; he also co-founded LinkDR in 2024.

The pain of navigating SOC 2 compliance firsthand while building LeapAI sparked the idea for Comp AI, with Lewis stepping up as CEO because the concept was his own.

Lewis co-founded Comp AI in January 2025 alongside Claudio and Mariano Fuentes, building an agentic platform that automates onboarding, policy generation, evidence gathering, and control monitoring for growing software businesses.

In under two years, Comp AI surpassed 1,000 customers, achieved 15x year-over-year ARR growth, and raised a $34M Series A led by Roo Capital and Grand Ventures, bringing total funding to $37.5M.
