Liviu Drăgan

Liviu Dragan was Founder and CEO of Druid AI, an enterprise conversational AI platform that serves over 300 global clients and has powered more than 1 billion conversations. He was an engineer, inventor, and business leader with over four decades of contributions to technology and innovation.
Liviu graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Polytechnic University in Bucharest and founded two of Romania's most renowned IT brands, TotalSoft and Charisma, which reached over 1,000 enterprise customers worldwide across 46 countries. TotalSoft was acquired by Logo Software Investment in 2016 for over 30 million euros.
Liviu was a founding member and president of the Software and Services Industry Association (ANIS) and was decorated with the Order of Merit by the President of Romania. He taught at university for 10 years, teaching Fortran and Delphi programming.
Under his leadership, Druid AI raised over 78 million dollars across multiple funding rounds, including a 30 million dollar Series B in 2023 led by TQ Ventures. The company integrated with enterprise giants like Microsoft, Genpact, Cognizant, and Accenture, and earned recognition as a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Conversational AI Platforms.
Druid AI grew annual recurring revenue 2.7 times year over year in 2024 and built a global partner network of over 200 partners. The platform serves industries including banking, healthcare, higher education, and retail, with clients like AXA Insurance, Carrefour, the FDA, and Georgia Southern University.
