Luke Malcolm

Luke Malcolm is Co-Founder and CTO at Lazarus Energy, a deep tech energy startup building modular supercritical CO2 turbine power systems to meet the surging electricity demands of AI data centers.
Luke studied Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Concentration and a Minor in Energy Studies at the University of Notre Dame (2020-2024), and honed his turbomachinery expertise at the Notre Dame Turbomachinery Laboratory, Ursa Major, and Anduril Industries.
At Anduril, Luke and co-founder George Kitromelides helped take a turbojet program from prototype to mass production, internalizing a culture of rapid hardware execution that now defines Lazarus Energy's engineering philosophy.
Luke co-founded Lazarus Energy alongside George Kitromelides, bringing a team pedigree spanning Siemens, Ursa Major, Williams International, and Anduril to reinvent power generation turbines from first principles.
Lazarus Energy's sCO2 power modules deliver up to 5 megawatts in a single containerized unit, are one tenth the size of a legacy steam turbine, require no water cooling, and are designed to ship and assemble in weeks rather than years.
