Luyu Zhang is Co-Founder and CEO at Dify, an open-source LLM application development platform democratizing AI for developers worldwide. Dify has achieved over 70,000 GitHub stars, becoming one of the world's most successful AI open-source products.

Luyu studied at UC Irvine and previously served as Product Director at Tencent's CODING DevOps platform. Before Tencent, he founded Feie Work, a testing process management and collaboration tool for software development.

Luyu co-founded Dify with John Wang in 2023, leveraging his deep DevOps expertise to create an intuitive LLMOps platform. Dify was selected for TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 Startup Battlefield 200 and has achieved over 400,000 installations worldwide.

Dify completed its Series A funding in August 2024 led by Alibaba Cloud and Shenzhen Vcshare Fund Management Enterprise. The company employs about 70 people globally with operations in San Francisco and an R&D center in Suzhou.

Dify has facilitated the creation of over 130,000 AI applications and achieved 100,000 GitHub stars in just two years. The platform integrates with major model providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, and serves enterprises across healthcare, finance, and education sectors.
