Manoel Lemos

Manoel Lemos is Managing Partner at Redpoint eventures, a pioneering Brazilian venture capital firm with direct ties to Silicon Valley. He is a computer engineer, entrepreneur, and VC bridging Silicon Valley and Brazil's tech ecosystem.
Manoel studied Computer Engineering at UNICAMP and holds executive education from Stanford GSB and MIT Sloan. He founded BlogBlogs, Brazil's largest blog aggregator, which was acquired by Abril/Naspers in 2008, and later served as Chief Digital Officer at Abril Media.
Manoel is a self-taught programmer who started coding as a child in the 1980s in Araguari, Brazil. He founded Fazedores.com, the first portal dedicated to the Brazilian Maker Movement, and currently advises Itau Unibanco on AI strategy.
Since joining Redpoint eventures in 2014, Manoel has invested in over 60 companies including unicorns Creditas, Pismo, and Wellhub. The fund manages $300M in assets and co-founded Cubo Itau, Latin America's leading innovation hub.
