Marc Benioff

Marc Benioff is Chair, CEO, and Co-Founder of Salesforce, a pioneer of cloud computing who built the world's largest enterprise applications company. Under his leadership, Salesforce has become the third-largest enterprise software company and the largest enterprise applications company in the world.
Marc earned a B.S. in Business Administration from USC in 1986 and spent 13 years at Oracle Corporation, where he became the youngest vice president in company history. Salesforce was founded on March 8, 1999, by former Oracle executive Marc Benioff, together with Parker Harris, Dave Moellenhoff, and Frank Dominguez as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. On day 1, Benioff created the 1-1-1 model of philanthropy, committing 1% of Salesforce's equity, product and employee time to the community since the company's founding 25 years ago. Marc also owns TIME magazine and founded TIME Ventures, a venture capital firm with over 200 investments.
