Marc Dassler

Marc Dassler is CEO and Co-Founder of Energy Robotics, a world-leading AI software platform enabling autonomous robots and drones to inspect critical industrial infrastructure across oil and gas, chemical, and utility sectors.
Marc studied Diplom Informatik with a focus on Robotics and AI at Technische Universitat Darmstadt, and earned an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, before holding senior roles at Hilti Group and BearingPoint.
A two-time RoboCup World Champion (2004 and 2005) and serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, Marc has previously co-founded Prodcast.tv, launched BiteBox, and developed Germany's first bus ticket comparison platform.
Under Marc's leadership, Energy Robotics raised a Series A round co-led by Blue Bear Capital and Climate Investment, with total funding of approximately $15.94M, and counts Shell, BP, BASF, Merck, Repsol, and E.ON among its global clients.
Energy Robotics has completed over one million autonomous inspections on five continents, saving customers more than 32,000 hours of hazardous human labor and enabling operating cost reductions of up to 40%.
