Marguerite Benoist

Marguerite Benoist is Co-Founder of AquaShield (YC P26), an AI-powered water leak detection platform protecting large commercial and residential real estate portfolios against costly water damage.
Marguerite holds an academic background spanning EPFL and Harvard University, with expertise in machine learning, anomaly detection, robotics, and digital twins.
She co-leads AquaShield alongside Paul Beckers, bringing together a founding team whose combined credentials include MIT, EPFL, Harvard, RWTH Aachen, and Tsinghua University.
Prior to AquaShield, Marguerite served as an intern at AIR6 Systems, was a Team Leader of the Navigation and Science team at EPFL Xplore, and conducted research in Thomas Bourgeat's lab.
AquaShield has secured an AI Project Grant from the EPFL AI Launchpad, run live pilots with MIT Facilities, and is deploying sensors with a large real-estate company in Germany, targeting a $20B underserved market.
