Mariano Fuentes is Co-Founder and CTO at Comp AI, an AI-native compliance and security automation platform helping companies achieve SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR certifications in days instead of months.

Mariano trained as a full-stack engineer at Fullstack Academy of Code and, alongside his brother Claudio, spent nearly a decade building startups together before co-founding Comp AI in January 2025.

As CTO, Mariano leads the technical vision for Comp AI's open-source, agentic compliance platform, believing AI should execute and verify security work, not just record it.

Prior to Comp AI, Mariano served as a senior full-stack engineer at LeapAI, a no-code AI workflow platform the Fuentes brothers built that scaled to over one million users before pivoting.

Comp AI has surpassed 1,000 customers with 15x year-over-year ARR growth, raised $37.5M in total funding including a $34M Series A led by Roo Capital and Grand Ventures, and is now expanding into continuous cybersecurity.
