Mark Pincus

Mark Pincus is Founder and Executive Chairman at Zynga, the pioneering social gaming company behind FarmVille, Words With Friends, and Zynga Poker. He is an Internet entrepreneur who also founded Freeloader, Inc., Tribe Networks, and Support.com.
Pincus worked in venture capital and financial services for six years, including roles at Lazard Freres and as Vice President at Asian Capital Partners in Hong Kong. He graduated summa cum laude from Wharton and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Pincus was a founding investor in Napster, Facebook, Friendster, Snapchat, Xiaomi, Twitter, JD.com, and Buddy Media. He co-founded Reinvent Capital in 2018 with Reid Hoffman and teaches product management at Stanford.
Pincus founded Zynga in July 2007 and took the company public with a $1 billion IPO in 2011. He was named 2009 CEO of the Year at The Crunchies and Founder of the Year in 2010.
Zynga has had over one billion people play its games since its inception in 2007. Take-Two Interactive acquired Zynga in 2022 for $12.7 billion.
