Mark Tandy is Co-Founder and CEO of HexSeed Technology, a pioneering deep-tech startup developing diamond coating solutions to solve thermal management challenges in AI-era power semiconductors.

Mark holds an MBA from Oxford and previously served as a Senior Project Developer at TotalEnergies, where he built expertise in energy systems and sustainable technology development.

Mark co-founded HexSeed alongside Dr Leonardo Santoni (CTO, UCL PhD in Chemistry) and Dr Michael Glerum (COO, Cambridge PhD in Engineering), uniting world-class scientific and commercial talent under one roof.

Under Mark's leadership, HexSeed secured over £600,000 in early-stage funding led by Carbon13, with backing from Net Zero Technology Centre and Vento Ventures, and unlocked a Partnership Grant from Innovate UK.

HexSeed is collaborating with University of Bristol researchers to advance a low-temperature microwave plasma process that grows diamond coatings directly onto GaN devices, targeting the fast-growing hyperscale data centre market.
