Dr. Marta P. Estarellas is the CEO of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, one of Europe's leading full-stack quantum computing companies, pioneering multimodal quantum computing through analog fluxonium processors, hybrid quantum architectures, and integrated quantum data centers.

Marta earned her PhD in Physics from the University of York and conducted research at the Global Research Center for Quantum Information Science at the National Institute of Informatics in Tokyo, with a multidisciplinary background spanning chemistry, physics, and computer science across Europe, the US, and Japan.

She is one of the few women globally leading a quantum technology company, and serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Global Quantum Industry Group (GQIG), championing European quantum sovereignty and democratized access to quantum computing.

Under her leadership, Qilimanjaro has delivered quantum computers to high-performance computing centers, launched a cloud-based Quantum as a Service (QaaS) platform, and secured a Series A round of 19.6M euros led by Indra Group.

Qilimanjaro won the 4YFN 2024 Awards, was selected as the only Spanish company in Phase 1 of the EuroHPC Quantum Grand Challenge, and is building the world's first hybrid quantum data center to unlock global access to quantum computing.
