Matilde Giglio is the Co-Founder of Even Healthcare, India's leading subscription-based managed healthcare company redefining access to affordable, high-quality care for over 1.3 billion people.

Born in Rome, Italy, Matilde holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University, and previously co-founded Compass News, a journalism-technology startup in the UK and US.

Matilde relocated to Bangalore in 2021 after recognizing that most Indians pay entirely out of pocket for healthcare, with only 37% of the population holding any form of health insurance.

At Even Healthcare, she has been instrumental in securing over $80 million in funding from world-class investors including Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, and Alpha Wave, and is also an active angel investor in over 30 companies globally.

Even Healthcare has scaled to a 400+ person team, achieved a 95% customer retention rate, opened its first multi-speciality hospital in Bengaluru, and reached operating break-even in under six months, far ahead of the industry average.
