Matt Khoshdarregi is the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of TetraGen Robotics, a Winnipeg-based company developing AI-powered robotic welding systems that eliminate manual programming for high-mix manufacturing.

Matt earned both his MASc and PhD from the University of British Columbia, and previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba where he founded the Intelligent Digital Manufacturing Lab.

A licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with deep expertise in robotics, AI, and manufacturing automation, Matt brings rare academic and industrial depth to solving real-world production challenges.

Prior to TetraGen, Matt held roles at industry leaders including Sandvik Coromant and TenarisTamsa, giving him firsthand knowledge of the pain points in high-variability manufacturing environments.

TetraGen raised a $1.8M CAD oversubscribed seed round led by StepChange Capital, with backing from Emend Vision Fund and James Richardson and Sons, fueling growth across engineering and commercial teams.
