Matthew studied Computer Science and Real Estate at the University of Maryland, where he also scored a perfect 180 on the LSAT, demonstrating a rare dual mastery of engineering and legal acumen.

A deep technical builder, Matthew engineered sub-290ns trading systems for high-frequency trading firms and worked extensively in cybersecurity spanning exploitation and security systems.

Before Erinys, Matthew led greenfield development at multiple organizations, directing engineering across several product groups, and presented vulnerability discovery research at Black Hat USA 2025.
