Mattis Koh

Mattis Koh is Co-Founder and COO of MESH AG, a Swiss ETH Zurich spin-off pioneering robotic automation for reinforced concrete construction.
Mattis is a mechanical engineer and expert in digital fabrication who co-founded MESH while working as a researcher at ETH Zurich, bringing deep expertise in 3D printing, computational design, and robotics.
His passion lies in leveraging cutting-edge robotic fabrication technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in manufacturing and construction processes, bridging the gap between digital design and physical fabrication.
Mattis co-founded MESH AG in 2022 alongside Ammar Mirjan, commercializing over a decade of ETH Zurich research into the world's first robot-assisted technology for producing complex reinforced concrete structures without conventional formwork.
MESH has secured strategic investment from Sika, PERI, ABB Robotics, and Shimizu Corporation in a CHF 2.9 million round, produced over one million rebar elements in Switzerland, and was awarded a major contract for the second Gotthard Road Tunnel.
