A biotech entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience, Max previously co-founded Quantum Pharmaceuticals, developing world-leading structure-based drug design technologies and first-in-class drug candidates, and led licensing deals with top-20 global pharma companies.
Max holds master's degrees in both law and economics (with honors) and is the author of several patents in biotech and IT, driven by a personal mission to end aging as a leading cause of human suffering.
At Gero, Max leads corporate affairs, legal strategy, fundraising, and investor relations, having initiated and closed multiple partnering, licensing, and investment deals, including collaborations with Pfizer and Chugai Pharmaceutical (Roche Group).
Gero has raised $34M in total equity funding and secured a Chugai collaboration worth up to $250M in milestones plus royalties, with research published in Science, Nature Communications, and recognition from Nature for pioneering the field of Gerophysics.
