Max Musing is the Founder and CEO of Basedash, an AI-native business intelligence platform that enables teams to explore analytics and build dashboards without writing SQL.

Max earned a Bachelor of Software Engineering from McGill University and gained industry experience as an engineering intern at Mark43 and a UX intern at Shopify before launching Basedash through Y Combinator's S20 batch.

Max pioneered the vision that powerful internal tools and governed analytics workflows should be accessible to companies of all sizes, not just large enterprises with dedicated engineering teams.

Under Max's leadership, Basedash raised $4.4M in seed funding led by Matrix Partners, with participation from Y Combinator, Form Capital, Worklife, and angel investors including the founders of Figma and Notion.

Basedash has expanded to connect 500+ data sources, launched an AI Dashboard Agent and Autopilot feature, and joined the official Slack Marketplace, making real-time data insights available directly where teams collaborate.
