Maximilian Arnold is Co-Founder and COO at Ontora, a Y Combinator-backed AI startup that deploys AI agents to interview every employee and map how work actually gets done inside organizations.
Max studied Computer Science at CODE University Berlin, completed an exchange semester at Stanford, and led process optimization as a Project Lead at Porsche AG, where he built agentic SAP process mining tools now used across 4 Volkswagen subsidiaries.
Max also brokered an official university partnership between CODE University Berlin and Stanford, making CODE one of only 30 global partner universities enabling 20 students annually to exchange on scholarships.
Alongside co-founders Leon Iwanowitsch and David Korn, Max was inspired to start Ontora after organizing a tour of Stockholm's fastest-scaling startups, where all three decided to quit their jobs and build together.
Ontora was accepted into Y Combinator Spring 2026 and targets a market where poor knowledge sharing costs Fortune 500 companies $31.5 billion annually, delivering consulting-grade operational insights in hours instead of months.
