Mayank Agarwal is Co-Founder and CTO at Resolve AI, an AI-powered platform that automates software production operations and incident management for engineering teams.

Mayank holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and previously worked at Microsoft, VMware, and as lead architect for Splunk Observability.

Mayank co-created OpenTelemetry, the global open-source standard for managing telemetry data, which has become foundational for modern observability. He co-founded Omnition with Spiros Xanthos, which was acquired by Splunk in 2019.

At VMware, Mayank architected Log Insight, a scale-out log analytics product with machine learning capabilities. At Splunk, he served as lead architect for all observability product lines following the Omnition acquisition.
