Meera Patel is the Co-Founder of HERA (YC S26), an AI-powered design review platform automating engineering drawing checks for heavy manufacturers in aerospace, medical devices, and pressure vessels.

Meera earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington (2022-2026), where she also published ML research, and grew up with firsthand experience on factory floors.

Meera taught herself PLC programming and C++, and built a state-of-the-art discrete-event simulation during projects at Pfizer and TE Connectivity, bringing rare cross-disciplinary depth to manufacturing software.

Prior to HERA, Meera contributed to DubHacks Next, CargoCheck, and the UW Foster School of Business, honing her expertise in industrial engineering and startup building.

HERA automates engineering drawing reviews 10x faster than a senior engineer, is live in production plants, and is backed by Y Combinator to address a $2.3 trillion manufacturing sector facing nearly 2 million unfilled jobs.
