A Harvard Law School graduate, Michael began his career at elite firm Cravath, Swaine and Moore before pivoting to tech entrepreneurship, co-founding Vested which was later acquired by MetLife.

Michael's firsthand exposure to his wife's distribution business revealed the massive inefficiency of manual sales order entry, inspiring him to build AI-driven solutions for a deeply underserved industry.

At Canals, Michael has grown the platform to serve over 100 wholesale distributors, securing a $35M Series A led by Base10 Partners and processing over $5B in payables.

Canals has processed more than 8 million sales orders, automates 96% of invoice processing for customers on average, and has helped distributors double their quote conversion rates.
