Michael Gibson is Co-Founder and CEO of Voquill, a YC-backed AI platform revolutionizing how pathologists document and bill for their diagnostic work.

Michael studied at Brigham Young University and joined Techcyte, a digital pathology company, straight out of college, rising from junior engineer to VP of Engineering where he managed a team of 55.

Michael brings deep hands-on expertise across frontend, backend, and applied machine learning, with a rare combination of engineering leadership and clinical domain knowledge in digital pathology.

At Techcyte, Michael led the AI team and architected digital pathology systems deployed at Mayo Clinic and other large reference laboratories, giving him firsthand insight into the inefficiencies plaguing pathology workflows.

Within weeks of launch, Voquill onboarded 25+ pathologists and is targeting the $8B+ in annual revenue pathology labs currently leave on the table due to documentation gaps and billing errors.
