Michael identified a critical gap in fire suppression innovation and connected with former NASA engineer Geoff Bruder to co-found Sonic Fire Tech in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019, driven by a shared mission to reimagine fire safety.

Michael brings strategic leadership and entrepreneurial vision to the company, serving as Board Chairman while championing the transition from reactive to proactive fire defense technology at a time when wildfire risks are rapidly escalating.

Under Michael's co-founding leadership, Sonic Fire Tech has attracted backing from top-tier investors including Khosla Ventures, The O.H.I.O. Fund, Third Sphere, and AirAngels, closing out its seed round at $15 million total raised.
