Michael Yu is Co-Founder and CTO at Inference.ai, an infrastructure-as-a-service platform providing GPU environments for AI and machine learning inferencing. The company matches AI workloads with cloud GPU compute through algorithmic optimization.

Michael studied Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and previously co-founded Bifrost Cloud, a Toronto-based distributed cloud storage company, with over a decade of experience in hardware, computing, and infrastructure.

Michael and co-founder John Yue anticipated the accelerated computing boom four years before launching Inference.ai, positioning themselves at the intersection of GPU infrastructure and AI innovation. Their prior data storage experience enabled them to pivot seamlessly into the GPU space.
