Mike Dannheim is the Founder and CEO of Sensie, a health and wellness technology company that uses smartphone sensors to detect emotional states and build bio-psychological resilience.
Mike holds a business degree from Rutgers University and drew on his personal recovery from a traumatic brain injury, along with a deep yoga and meditation practice, as the human foundation for Sensie's mission.
Mike is a certified Blissology yoga instructor, a recognized TransTech200 thought leader in mental and emotional wellbeing technology, and an advisor and mentor in the Startup Quest entrepreneurship program.
Prior to Sensie, Mike helped lead Groupon's international expansion across Asia, worked with a Y Combinator-backed startup (Grouper Social Club), led a corporate venture innovation lab building biometric payment solutions for a cruise line, and brings over 10 years of experience with two venture-backed businesses.
Sensie was ranked among the top seven mental health technology companies in America by the American Psychiatric Association Innovation Lab, holds 2 filed patents, has an active clinical pilot with the Mayo Clinic, and is partnered with the biomedical AI lab at Johns Hopkins University.
