Mike Henry is the Founder and CEO of Parasail, an AI Supercloud and inference platform that gives developers fast, scalable, and cost-efficient access to GPU compute and cutting-edge AI models.

Mike holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and previously founded Mythic, a top VC-backed analog AI chip company, before serving as Interim CPO at Groq where he built the company's cloud inference offering.

With deep roots in AI hardware and chip design, Mike identified a structural shift in AI infrastructure being built outside the big three legacy cloud providers, spotting a major opportunity to aggregate and optimize that distributed compute.

After co-founding Parasail in 2023 with Tim Harris, Mike led the company from stealth to raising $42M in total funding, including a $32M Series A co-led by Touring Capital and Kindred Ventures.

Parasail now generates 500 billion tokens per day, operates across 40 data centers in 15 countries, and enables companies to cut AI inference costs by 15 to 30x compared to closed API providers like OpenAI and Anthropic.
