Mohammed HK

Mohammed Khambhati Huzefa (Mohammed HK) is Co-Founder of Neural Drive, a Singapore-based AI neurotechnology startup developing non-invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) solutions for paralysed patients with severe communication impairments.
Mohammed studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic and is currently a first-year student at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), where Neural Drive is based.
Inspired by stroke cases he encountered as a national service medic, Mohammed built Neural Drive to restore communication for paralysed individuals at a fraction of the cost of existing alternatives, pricing each unit at roughly $2,500 versus $15,000 for comparable eye-gaze systems.
Mohammed and his co-founders won 1st place in Asia Pacific at the Entrepreneurs Next Star and Million Prize Global World Championship in Shenzhen, and Neural Drive was shortlisted in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield Top 200 out of over 15,000 global applicants.
Neural Drive secured US$250,000 in pre-seed funding from Afore Capital at a post-money valuation of US$3.5 million, and is preparing an 18-month clinical trial with Tan Tock Seng Hospital involving 30 patients across inpatient, outpatient, and home settings.
