Murat Tunaboylu

Murat Tunaboylu is Co-Founder and CEO at Antiverse, an AI-driven techbio company designing therapeutic antibodies for challenging disease targets including GPCRs and ion channels.
Murat has a background in software engineering and bioinformatics, studied Electrical Engineering at Yildiz Technical University, and worked in high-frequency trading before transitioning to biotech. He automated DNA synthesis workflows at Thermo Fisher Scientific and was a software manager at a robotics company.
Murat co-founded Antiverse in 2017 with Ben Holland at the Deep Science Ventures accelerator in London. His transition to biotech was motivated by his father's lung cancer diagnosis, driving his passion to bring new therapies to patients.
Antiverse raised $9.3M Series A in March 2026, bringing total funding to over $20M. The company has partnerships with multiple top 20 global pharmaceutical companies and collaborates with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Antiverse reduces development time for therapeutic-grade antibodies to under four months and has successfully identified functional antibodies targeting GPCRs with nanomolar affinity. The platform accelerates antibody discovery to six months, tackling targets previously considered undruggable.
