Naren Yenuganti

Naren Yenuganti is Co-Founder and CTO at Polymath, an applied research lab building environment factories for AI agent training and evaluation. Polymath is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch and focuses on increasing reliability and autonomy of AI agents through high-fidelity reinforcement learning environments.
Naren studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Bioengineering at UC Berkeley, graduating in 2022. He previously worked as a software engineer at Plaid and Amazon, where he spent over three years on the Planning and Optimization Technology team.
At Berkeley, Naren co-founded Omni Technologies, designing assistive technology for people with disabilities, and received the Ignite grant from the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation. He was supported by the Berkeley SkyDeck HotDesk Incubator program for developing a tongue-operated mouse for users with spinal cord injuries, ALS, or TBI.
Naren worked at Amazon from 2021 to 2024 building full-stack systems with Java, Spring MVC, and React Redux, and at RefleXion Medical developing testing applications for medical devices. He joined Plaid as a software engineer in September 2024 before co-founding Polymath in 2026.
Polymath provides frontier AI labs with building blocks to achieve breakthroughs in long-horizon AI agent performance. The company is building scalable environment factories to produce training and evaluation environments that enable agents to perform reliably across complex, extended tasks.
