Natasha Vernier

Natasha Vernier is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cable, an all-in-one financial crime effectiveness testing platform on a mission to reduce financial crime globally.
Natasha holds a first-class law degree from Kings College London, is a chartered accountant, and began her career in corporate finance at Ernst and Young before pivoting to fintech.
As employee number 17 at Monzo Bank, Natasha served as Head of Financial Crime and witnessed firsthand the systemic failures in manual compliance testing, a gap that directly inspired the founding of Cable in 2020.
Prior to Cable, Natasha spent over four years at Monzo Bank helping the neobank secure a full UK banking licence and scale from near zero to 4.5 million customers, and also served as a Senior Advisor at FINTRAIL.
Cable has raised over $16M in total funding including an $11M Series A from Stage 2 Capital and Jump Capital, and serves regulated banks and fintechs like Axiom Bank, Tide, and Ramp, tackling what the company calls a $4 trillion global financial crime problem.
