Nate Hamet

Nate Hamet is Co-Founder and CEO of Quindar, a Y Combinator-backed SaaS platform powering autonomous and scalable satellite mission control for commercial, civil, and defense space operators.
Nate studied aerospace engineering and meteorology at the University of Michigan and spent nearly a decade in the space industry at Lockheed Martin, OneWeb, and Orbital Effects, where he served as Director of Mission Software.
At OneWeb, Nate served as Command and Control Lead, helping architect the TT&C ground system that operates the second largest satellite constellation in the world, giving him firsthand insight into the scalability challenges of modern satellite operations.
Nate co-founded Quindar in 2022 alongside five fellow OneWeb and Orbital Effects engineers, going through Y Combinator and raising a total of $27M including an $18M Series A led by Washington Harbour Partners with backing from Booz Allen Ventures, FUSE, FCVC, and Y Combinator.
Quindar has grown to nearly 60 employees and serves commercial, civil, and defense customers, enabling a single engineer to operate hundreds of satellites and integrating diverse satellite fleets into unified constellations in days rather than years.
