Nathan Leung

Nathan Leung is the Co-Founder and CTO of Harbor, a Y Combinator-backed AI system of record for clinical trial data collection, replacing slow and manual legacy EDC systems.
Nathan studied pure mathematics at UCLA and computer science at the University of Michigan, where he first met his co-founder Albert Cai, and was raised in the Philadelphia suburbs where he taught himself to code in high school.
Nathan brings rare depth across regulated systems engineering, blockchain, and AI, having written smart contracts securing millions in assets and built scalable software at both Google and Ramp.
Prior to Harbor, Nathan served as employee number one at a previous YC-backed startup, building zero-to-one systems from scratch, and has accumulated five years of experience across seed-stage startups and high-growth tech companies.
Harbor launched its 21 CFR Part 11 compliant platform in just eight months and is already live in five clinical studies, configuring a 1,600-subject randomized trial database ten times faster than legacy EDC vendors.
