Nevo Poran

Nevo Poran is Co-Founder and CTO of Tenet Security, a cybersecurity company purpose-built to secure autonomous AI agents operating across enterprise environments. As a veteran offensive security researcher, he leads the technical vision behind Tenet's patent-pending Agent-side Simulation technology, which predicts and stops malicious AI agent behavior in real time before it reaches production systems.
Nevo is an alumnus of Israel's elite Unit 8200 intelligence unit, bringing deep offensive security expertise to his work. Before Tenet, he and co-founder Barak Sternberg helped build Cisco's AI Defense research team, leading early work on threats targeting autonomous AI systems.
Nevo has spoken at both DEF CON and Black Hat, establishing himself as a recognized voice on AI and agentic security threats. His research into a novel attack class called Agentjacking, tested across more than 100 enterprise environments, has helped define the emerging agentic security landscape.
Prior to Cisco, Nevo co-founded Wild Pointer, a cybersecurity firm serving Fortune 500 customers that scaled to seven-figure annual revenue. Tenet Security marks his second company built alongside co-founder Barak Sternberg, reflecting a proven track record of serial entrepreneurship in cybersecurity.
Tenet emerged from stealth in June 2026 with $6 million in seed funding and early enterprise deployments blocking over 10 real-world attacks, including a critical XSS attempt, across more than two million analyzed sessions. One legal-sector customer scaled from two AI agent deployments to more than twenty within six months while using the platform.
