Nhi Nguyen is Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Drylab AI, an agentic AI platform transforming how life sciences research is conducted by enabling autonomous scientific reasoning and complex bioinformatics analyses for pharma and biomedical labs.

Nhi is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Science at Nanyang Technological University's LKC School of Medicine, specializing in therapeutic treatments for liver disease, and was an Amgen Research Scholar with prior experience at NUS Department of Pharmacy.

Nhi taught herself bioinformatics to analyze her own lab's experimental data, and that firsthand frustration with off-the-shelf tools directly inspired the creation of Drylab AI.

Drylab AI raised a $3M seed round led by Vertex Ventures with participation from PatSnap, and launched commercially in February 2026, quickly signing paying customers across pharmaceutical companies, cancer centres, and universities in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Drylab's platform integrates over 800 scientific tools and databases, enabling AI agents to autonomously plan, execute, and troubleshoot entire computational research workflows without requiring constant human intervention.
