Nicholas Chua

Nicholas Chua is a Co-Founder at Ghost, a San Francisco-based AI hardware startup building Core, a $3,499 personal computer purpose-built to run autonomous AI agents locally on-device.
At just 19 years old, Nicholas joined forces with CEO Zain Javaid, Yifei Chen, and Gautam Sharda to form one of the youngest founding teams in the AI hardware space, spending a year building in stealth before launching.
Nicholas and his co-founders are driven by a conviction that personal AI agents handling sensitive data should run on hardware the user physically controls, prioritizing privacy and data sovereignty over cloud convenience.
Ghost emerged from stealth on October 5, 2026, backed by an $11 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Abstract, Audacious Ventures, SV Angel, and Nova.
Ghost's debut product Core sold out its first production batch within days of launch, with units assembled at the company's San Francisco facility and shipping scheduled for October 31, 2026.
