Nick Ryabov is Co-Founder and CTO of Nopan, an Amsterdam-based performance platform built to help digital businesses and Payment Service Providers launch, optimise, and scale account-to-account and wallet payment methods across Europe.

Nick honed his engineering expertise at Netflix's Amsterdam payments team and Microsoft, gaining deep merchant-side experience in building and optimising payments infrastructure at scale.

Described by peers as a technically exceptional engineer with a passion for selecting the right technology, Nick brings a merchant-first perspective to solving the reliability gap in modern payments.

At Netflix, Nick and co-founder Konstantin Surkov observed first-hand how account and wallet payment methods started strong but struggled to perform as they scaled, a challenge that directly inspired the creation of Nopan in 2024.

Nopan has raised a total of 7.2 million euros backed by Newion, Crane, and Seedcamp, secured a De Nederlandsche Bank payment institution licence, and became a Principal Member of the European Payments Initiative behind Wero.
