Nick Torday

Nick Torday is Co-Founder and CEO of Bower Collective, a certified B Corp and digital-first sustainable consumer goods business on a mission to eliminate plastic waste from the home.
Nick studied Art History and Anthropology at the University of East Anglia and went on to lead Edo.co, a change and technology consultancy whose clients included the UN, WWF, Greenpeace, and Amnesty International.
Nick co-founded Bower Collective in 2019 after a personal journey to reduce plastic waste at home ignited his passion for tackling the global plastic crisis at scale. He brings deep expertise in digital technology, customer strategy, and purpose-led business.
Prior to Bower, Nick ran Nick Torday Consulting, an independent consultancy helping complex organisations reshape for the digital age, and served as a Board Trustee for Aurora Orchestra. He launched Bower through the Founders Factory Venture Studio, raising a £400k initial round before closing a £2.1M seed led by Oxford Capital and Doehler Ventures.
Bower Collective has raised over $8.5M in total funding, grown a community of 95,000+ customers, prevented 44,000kg+ of plastic waste through its proprietary BowerPack reusable packaging system, and most recently closed a Series A round in March 2025.
